Description

Superb 19thc Staffordshire figure of Robinson Crusoe. Dating c.1870.
Excellent attention to detail. Robinson Crusoe sits on a tree branch. He has a bag across his shoulder and rests one hand on the end of his rifle.. Nicely detailed face with dotted nostrils and combed effect hair. Separate leg moulds. On his head he wears a green conical cap.
Measures some 5.5" height.
Condition: Head has been reattached otherwise very nice and age consistent condition.
