    Here is a wonderful antique T. Mayer, Longport, Staffordshire, blue transferware plate depicting the "Fountain of Elisha at Jericho".  This plate is one in their series entitled "Illustrations of the Bible".  Maker mark indicates it was produced between 1826-1838.
