Early Child’s Staffordshire Plate - Pearlware/ Prattware

Here is a Wonderful early 19 C. Pearlware/Prattware child’s plate. This special plate measures 9” & displays a special transfer with Mother & Children in the garden by a beekeep!
The figures have been clobber painted .  The border is quite special too, displaying a series of angelic looking figures with what appears to be winged embellishments, interspersed with decorative tendrils. The “in painting” on the border & throughout is bright & lovely.
Just inside the interior surface on the the upper ridges of the plate are embossed dogs & other animals with trees or plantings interspersed - all hand painted. There is a crack that is noticeable to the front however this plate is so special that as a display piece - it will show well.
